Behold the... naga! That is leafy, lacking a mouth and nose... And also, upside down. Admittedly it's nothing like the nagas in mythology. I just dunno what else to call him. It's a few months old, but I still like it... one of the best last-minute-two-hours-to-class project sketches I've ever done. It was colored on Open Canvas... when I still had it... and /had/ a background- really, it did- but I killed it because it was a last minute thing that did /not/ look good.

Erm. Anyway, I'm babbling.

This guy here has a companion, which will be posted shortly after- also lacking a background. The original pic was way too big to post in one piece anyway. Mlehhhh!

you did the coloring very well
for a moment, i really thought it was a snake drawing until i saw the head KD;
i love how you made the body curl- it gives it a nice effect :]

was it origionally drawn at this angle, or was the canvas turned at all?
This is awesome- especially including the companion piece. I'd like the two of them, together, on a large canvas- and i don't think they need a background, because of the bright colours you used.
Great proportions and imagination.

The nagas were drawn in the angles they were posted in XP since they were both drawn on a piece of 8.5"x11" paper, it wasn't much bother to turn the thing around and all. The only reason they're not posted together is because it's.. well. Together they are kinda HUGE XD hahahaha. Thanks for the comments and such, man <3

Really great colors and shadings here. I also like the fact that he doesn't look like "traditional" naga. Refreshing to see something new once in a while.
I have to make this pointless side note: I love his hair! x}
